Meet Dr. Nathan Saydyk

Not Just Skilled. Someone You Can Talk To.

Credentials matter, but they are not the whole picture. You also want someone who takes the time to understand what is going on, explains things in a way that makes sense, and helps you feel confident in what comes next.

Dr. Saydyk built his practice around exactly that. From your first visit, he focuses on making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and never pressured into anything before you are ready.

The Road That Brought Him Here

Dr. Saydyk did not take the expected route into dentistry. Before dental school, he served as a medic in the US Navy, working in the Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Care Unit at Bremerton Naval Hospital. That environment taught him to pay attention, stay calm under pressure, and treat every patient as an individual, not a case.

From there, he explored engineering and crop physiology before finding his footing in a profession that combined precision work with real human connection.

Dentistry was also personal. His father was an orthodontist, and watching him help people through care that genuinely changed their lives left a lasting impression. When Dr. Saydyk lost his father to complications from obstructive sleep apnea, it deepened his commitment to understanding how airway health connects to overall wellbeing, an area that now shapes how he approaches patient care every day.

A Decade Of Experience Behind Every Decision

Dr. Saydyk brings over a decade of clinical experience to every appointment, with advanced training in full-mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, complex case planning, and oral conscious sedation.

He has presented on sleep apnea treatment at both the Arizona Academy of General Dentistry and the Mayo Clinic, putting him among a small group of clinicians sharing knowledge at that level.

He also holds Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by fewer than six percent of dentists in the country. It is not a credential he pursued for the title. It reflects a genuine commitment to staying current, thinking critically, and continuing to improve the care he delivers to every patient who walks through his door.

The Whole Picture, Not Just The Problem

Dr. Saydyk does not treat concerns in isolation. He looks at how everything connects, particularly when it comes to airway health and long-term function.

Every recommendation comes with a clear explanation of what is being suggested and why. You will never leave wondering what just happened or feeling like decisions were made without you.

He has built a practice that moves at a deliberate pace. Not rushed. Just focused on getting it right.

Beyond Dentistry

Dr. Saydyk has been married to his high school sweetheart, Kristi, for more than 30 years. They have four children and one grandchild.

Hockey takes up a good chunk of his time outside work. He coaches at the local high school, plays with the Puckhead Hockey Club, and has shared the ice with his kids along the way.
Music is another constant. He plays acoustic guitar, banjo, and didgeridoo. It is a side of him that tends to find its way into the atmosphere of the practice whether he intends it to or not.
