Make Your Visit Comfortable

Does the idea of visiting the dentist leave you with an anxious feeling in your chest? While having a dentist you can trust can alleviate some of your fears, we know that sometimes that alone isn’t enough. Because we want the best for your smile, we’re pleased to offer sedation dentistry to help you feel comfortable throughout your visit.

The Benefits of Sedation

  • Reduce your feelings of fear and anxiety.
  • Allow more or multiple procedures to be done in one sitting.
  • Ease a strong gag reflex.
  • Keep your association with the dentist positive.

We Make Sure You’re The Priority

Whatever you’re visiting us for, your well-being is our main concern. If you’re interested in sedation dentistry, Dr. Saydyk will assess your medical history and the anxieties you experience to determine which type of sedation is best for your needs.

We will also take the time to explain your options in detail and answer any questions you may have to make you feel confident and informed about your choice.

Is Sedation Dentistry Right for You?

Sedation could be a good choice for your visit if you:

  • Experience high levels of anxiety or fear when visiting the dentist.
  • Have had negative dental experiences in the past.
  • Need to undergo lengthy procedures.
  • Have difficulty sitting still for extended periods.

Your Options for a Calmer Visit

At our practice, Dr. Saydyk provides safe, effective sedation choices designed to ease anxiety and make dental care more comfortable.

With oral conscious sedation, you’ll take prescribed medication the night before and again an hour before your appointment. This approach allows you to remain awake throughout treatment while feeling deeply relaxed.

For patients with mild anxiety, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) offers a calming effect while you stay fully alert. Its quick recovery time means you can return to your normal routine soon after your visit.

When it comes to wisdom teeth extractions and certain advanced procedures, we partner with an external anesthesiologist who visits the office on Mondays. This specialist-administered care ensures an added layer of safety and comfort during more complex treatments.
